Making Peace With the Past

He tenderly whispered to my heart, “All that matters is that I love you.”

What do you say to words like that, when your heart aches to reconcile the weight of the past with the hope of the present? When questions surface uninvited: Am I enough? Am I ready?

All I could do was breathe those words back to Him… “All that matters is that I love You.”

What Once Was Will Never Be Again

There are moments when Jesus draws near, not with loud declarations, but with the gentle ask to sit in silence and let His love heal the hidden places.

It’s in that sacred quiet where He plants seeds that reshape our hearts.

And in that stillness, His invitation comes: Make peace with the past. What once was… will never be again. (Richard Baxter)

It’s time to step onto a new road, a path straight and cleared by grace.

The beauty of the dream God is birthing within you cannot grow in the soil of shame. Yes, the scars may testify to battles fought in darkness, but they do not have the power to define your future.

We often don’t realize how deeply the shadows of yesterday color our decisions, how subtly they whisper over every dream beginning to stir.

So the Holy Spirit leans in and reveals, “To blossom and bloom, you must deal with the insecurities hiding in your heart.”

Abraham’s Journey: The Call to Let Go

When God calls you into destiny, every hidden weight will rise to the surface. He doesn’t reveal it to shame you, but to free you.

Think of Abram.

He left Ur but lingered in Haran, halfway in obedience, halfway in hesitation. Even after stepping into the land of promise, he still carried Lot, the nephew he loved like a son, a tie to his past that delayed his full inheritance.

The day of promise demanded a letting go. The future God had prepared couldn’t hold both the old attachments and the new vision.

When Abram finally released Lot, he stepped fully into his calling. He embraced the authority to confront the kings of the past, and entered covenant with the God of the future.

That was the day Abram became Abraham: the father of nations.

Time to Blossom and Bloom

When you truly believe all that matters is that Jesus loves you, something shifts.

You’re finally free to make peace with yourself.

You realize God crafted you — wild, beautiful, and free — for a purpose that no past mistake or hidden fear can steal. Held by His outstretched arm, you stand beyond the reach of shame.

And then He sings over you as He sang to me through the words of Para Siempre:

“Olvidemos el pasado, y vivamos el presente.
Lo que importa es que me amas, y te amo: Para siempre.”

Let us forget the past, and live in the present.
What matters is that you love Me, and I love you, forever.
